Referee Abroad’s Refereeing Beyond Borders initiative, supported by the Erasmus+ program, is dedicated to fostering unity and collaboration among football referees from diverse cultural backgrounds worldwide.

As a key part of this project, we had the privilege of hosting a live webinar featuring Premier League and FIFA referee Rob Jones. During the session, Rob shared an inspiring account of his journey from grassroots football to the highest levels of the sport. He candidly discussed the challenges he faced, the pivotal moments that shaped his career, and the personal growth that came from overcoming adversity.

The webinar concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, where Rob thoughtfully addressed questions from referees around the globe, offering valuable insights and advice.

We invite you to watch the full webinar below and gain inspiration from Rob Jones’s remarkable refereeing journey.
